I was truly honored to be appointed to the Board of Education by a unanimous 6-0 vote, reflecting strong confidence in my leadership and commitment to our schools.

School Safety
I have had an active role in school safety since 2013, working to support real improvements in our schools including the implementation of our current school School Resource Deputies and buzzer systems. I am a trusted voice on school safety in our community and will continue to advocate for what is best!
I will continue to prioritize strong safety measures, set clear expectations, and advocate for consistent discipline so every student and teacher can feel safe in the classroom every day.

I will lead with true accountability and common sense, ensuring that decisions reflect our community's values while putting students and their families first.
Parents deserve a strong voice in their children's education, and I will make sure that voice is heard in every decision.
I am committed to overseeing fiscal management, ensuring taxpayer funds are allocated efficiently and equitably to directly benefit and directly support students and teachers fairly in the classroom.

I believe in preparing students for college, careers, and real life---not just tests.
Education should meet our students where they are and help them thrive as individuals.
Our teachers are highly respected in our community, but their voices and those of our students, must be heard, valued, and strongly considered in all decisions.
It takes a village to raise and support our children. That means parents, teachers, and school leaders all have a role, and every voice deserves to be heard and considered in decision making.
As a mother of three WCPS kids, I am extremely passionate about the safety of our children and support of our teachers in this school system! Your donation will help support my continued ability to positively impact and strengthen school safety, the support of our teachers, and bring trusted common sense leadership to the Board of Education.
